Rajwat Ramallah – Embroidered Thobe
Rajwa — meaning “hope” and “aspiration”—lends its name to Rajwat Ram Allah, ASHI’s fresh reinterpretation of the famed Ramallah thobe. Inspired by Ramallah’s storied cross-stitch traditions, this version translates the classic diamond and rosette motifs into rich red and black satin panels, then punctuates them with pops of turquoise and ivory. Rather than the heavier, straight-cut silhouettes of old, Rajwat Ram Allah introduces a tailored waist panel, and a gently flared skirt—bringing ease and modern refinement to each step. It’s a true dialogue between past and present: honoring the artistry of Palestine’s artisans while offering today’s wearer a silhouette made for celebration and everyday grace, a modern heritage dress.
